It's about time we update the photos of our kids. Fall has been beautiful here. the weather has been amazing and the colors are gorgeous. We almost missed it, but were able to capture it some...

Adam was also able to bless Abigail sunday in church. My mom made a gorgeous blessing dress for her to wear. It was a great day with some family and friends.

Happy Halloween

Yes, blogging has taken a huge backseat in my life this year. I have been a tad bit busy, but now I feel things are calming down some and maybe I will get around to posting a few pictures here and there. This year Halloween seemed to take a backseat to other things in daily life as well. We did carve a few pumpkins the afternoon of Halloween and I made small contributions to Liz and James school parties so I called it a success. I never found the decorations to put up, but after seeing my new neighbors "haunted house" they put up in about 30 minutes my decorations would have looked silly anyways. (I wish I would have taken a picture--complete with graveyard, floating ghouls, jumping spiders, etc) Liz was snow white with black hair, James was spiderman, Luke was a dinosaur and Abigail a pumpkin. I could not believe that Luke did not fight any piece of his costume at all. I couldn't believe it. He seemed genuinely happy to wear it.

We participated in our ward trunk or treat and carnival and then went trick or treating in our neighborhood on Halloween. Luke made it to 8 or so houses before he couldn't walk anymore and would climb in and out of the stroller at the next few doors. After about 12 houses James told us he just wanted to go home. I was surprised, but we granted his wish. (He just wanted to dive into all the candy) Lizzy on the other hand was not stopping until her bucket was filled to the top. It was a fun Halloween with the kiddos!

Abigail Kay Robinson

Wednesday morning at 2:48am Abigail Kay Robinson was born. Right away they new she was no small baby and weighed in at 9lbs 14oz. Thank goodness she came 8 days early. I can't imagine delivering a bigger baby. I think she looks a lot like Luke. We love her already and she is a really good baby.

The kids came to visit with Grandma on Wednesday afternoon. Lizzy and James were so excited to meet baby sister. However, Luke came in with a look of disgust on his face like, "What is that?". I found it hilarious.

Luke did decide to warm up...for a few minutes...

We knew it was time to go as Luke pointed to Abby and basically yelled, "Get her out of here!". Poor kid, didn't know what hit him. Our joke is, she weighed in so high so she can win a few wrestling matches against her brother.

Happy 6th Birthday Lizzy

Our Lizzy turned 6 toward the end of June. I have been a little preoccupied to blog lately, but didn't want to pass up the chance to brag about my beautiful girl. Lizzy's birthday is one of the highlight's of the year for her. She was really disappointed to find out her dad would be out of town on her birthday, but we were able to turn it around and she had a great day. She chose to have mud-pie and it had to have purple writing and a princess on top. We put Merida from Brave on the cake since we were going to go see the movie for her b-day. Our friends, the Hyuns, came to have dinner with us which also made it special.

Lizzy is such a fun, imaginative girl. She loves to play make-believe and is always coming up with some new world to live in. She also loves to swim, play outside and read. One of the things we got her for her birthday was a reading light. Best-gift-ever. Her reading really took off a few months ago and she loves to read and will finish a magic tree house book in a hour. I cannot get enough of them and other books from the library. I LOVE that she loves to read as I do too! Liz is also a GREAT big sister and helps me out so much. She can't wait to have her baby sister here and is insisting we name her Tulip (I bet she will be the only one calling her that).

Lizzy also is always up for an adventure and loves to ask me, "Mom, what do you have planned for us today?" Let me tell you, it is hard to keep up with the girl, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

This past week we went on vacation so I included a few pics from our trip on the Oregon Coast, On Sunday, July 15th, she was brushing her teeth and out came her tooth. It was the first one that she lost and she was so excited to put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. I guess this means she is really growing up! (Sniff!)

LOVE YOU LIZZY!!!!

Kindergarten Celebration

Yesterday Lizzy participated in the Kindergarten Celebration. She has been very excited the last few weeks because she got to go to music class. They learned 4 songs that they performed for the parents. Lizzy did a great job and is in her element singing. She had a great year of kindergarten and it is kind of hard to believe it's over. Here she is with her awesome teacher, Mrs. Cleofe (Clee-off-ee).

Bling

This past year Lizzy has taken a dance class that includes Tap, Jazz and hip hop. The recital was entitled Bling and she LOVED performing. She had a huge smile the whole time she performed. My camera got messed up during the first dance which was a dissappointment since she was in the front row and I thought I got a great video. You can enjoy the second dance though. The first pictures are from recital rehersal. Lizzy is with her good friend Kayla and then part of her class. All of the girls didn't make it to the dress rehersal.
