Since we have returned from Taiwan, we have been sorting through the stuff in our house. One item that we found much to Lizzy's joy was a copy of the movie, The Little Mermaid. Lizzy knows who all the Disney princesses are, but has never actually seen the movies. She has now watched the little mermaid at least 100 times in the last 5 days (OK I am exaggerating). Lizzy also loves to sing so this is what we get to listen to all day and night and even in restaurants (shhh! please keep your voice down)

OHH my cute. She is just darling! Keep singing Lizzie!
ha ha ha, I love it! I love how you asked if she needed to sing louder to sound better and she says very seriously, "Yes." She does quite a nice rendition I must say. Now let's hope you don't find her topless and rolling up her bottom half in a blanket to play "mermaid" like I found my girls last week. I know, you're grateful for the distance now, right?
Oh, Lizzy. We miss you darling!
Hahaha! So cute. I remember doing that when I was little when The Little Mermaid first came out! Was Lizzy crossing her eyes at the end when she was trying to get really loud? Hilarious. She is going to be a great singer like her mama!!
PS we missed you at the conference. I thought of you several times, thinking, "I wish Kay could have been here too..."
Love the crescendo and cross-eyed concentration that only a little drama queen can provide. Before you know it she'll be folding up her shirt to show a little belly and flopping around on the floor in her tights. . . . .
Okay seriously Kay, that is adorable. I especially loved it how she went cross-eyes to sing louder! That is a keeper for sure.
When I was a kid I loved to sing that song too, but we did it in the swimming pool so we could act like her. That was a great job Lizzy! I loved the 2nd time of singing louder! It brought smiles to my face!
That was too special. One for sure she will enjoy when she is older. Thank you for sharing - a wonderful way to end a Saturday.
I LOVE it! So much emotion, that's the Lizzy we love!
